How Teacher Changed My Life

When I was admitted in the school,  I made a good progress  in the primary level. I used to be first in the class. As the level grew, my position went down. I even don't know which factor has affected me. As more days passed, my position went on degrading day by day. My parents began to worry about me. Moreover, I almost stopped to talk and play with friends. I  had completed the class VII and reached class VIII, where I have to prepare for district level examination. And with my current activities, no hope to clear district examination.

On class VIII,  respected teacher Dhiren Chauhan came to teach us.  On the very first day he was shocked by my characters. He asked my name, but I was afraid to give my introduction, something was obstructing me from the inside which made him more shocked. Later I knew he made a discussion in office room about me. 

He taught us two subjects, i.e. mathematics and occupation. In every class he tried to have a fun with me, but I didn't used to respond it in any ways. One day he took a class test of mathematics.  I got confused on the easy question that I had to do  multiple times and cut it again. At last, I solved the question and submitted the paper to the teacher.

Next day, we noticed that we were going to get the results. I got my paper back and look the previous answer. Oh no, I did it wrong, but I got the marks. I thanked from inside for giving the marks, but didn't tell anything. After a while, he started to discuss questions one by one.

When he reached the question where I got confused, he explained that the answer  I cut is correct so he gave marks for it. I was so pleased to hear it. I turned the paper and found that he checked the every wrong answer line by line. I knew how much he is focusing towards me.

After some days, he called me into his home and gave a gift. Firstly, I was ashamed to take it, but I can't reject it too. So, I went back with the gift. The gift contains tin box, dictionary, book and Atlas book. I was so happy to have such great books. After I had a dictionary, I used to search a word meaning from books. Even for entertainment purpose I used to search words which I already knew. With an atlas book I started to recognize maps of the world and started to collect information.

Unknowingly, I started to give more attention in the class. Especially in that two subjects, Occupation and mathematics. I recognized, a simple inspirational word can change a life, a small gift can change a life. I want to give heartfelt thanks to such teacher, who is truly the incarnation of God.
