Foundation Stone of Nagdhunga-Naubishe Tunnel
Today the Nubishe-Nagadhunga tunnel's foundation stone is being built in the present of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. It is the project for national pride. The construction of the tunnel is expected to be finished within three years and six months. The government of Japan promised to provide 16 arab loans for the construction work.
It has been said that traffic jams in the Nubishe-Nagadhunga zone would end after the tunnel path construction and travel will also be quicker. Currently, it takes about two hours to reach Kathmandu from Nubishe. It only takes 20 minutes to get to Kathmandu after construction.
The Churiamai tunnel was created 103 years ago in Nepal by Rana prime minister. A 700-meter tunnel constructed in the Hetauda-Amleganj is in unmanaged state.
